Music video checklist

Checklist :
  • 2 characters representing two social groups
  • 2 different locations (this can be the same place but a change of mise-en-scene) 
  • a range of camera angles shot distances and movements 
  • graphics and titles that display the artist name and track title
  • a relatively high cutting rate that fits the fast pace of the pop/dance track I've chosen 
  • a mixture of performative and narrative elements to both portray a story and convey the artists beliefs etc
  • an intertextual reference to a relevant piece of media that falls within pop culture 
  • a representation of social groups that are relatable to my chosen ideal audience member 
  • a use of mise en scene that conforms to the light heartedness of the song (e.g bright colours, sun, coloured lights and costume and makeup)
