Story plan

A story plan: 

·     Artist (male character) and his female counter part represent the contrast between male and female 

·     The artist is being obnoxious and arrogant boasting the women he sleeps with etc (“I get all the girls”) reviewing them rating them out of ten generally being grim representation of men viewing women as sex objects, aim to show an array of girls and or women of all different shapes and sizes and ages to represent the diversity of female beauty. Him being represented as obnoxious and rude by being rude to women shows that women and their body type isn’t the problem etc its men that view women as pieces of meat

·     The female character is unimpressed and she becomes the object of desire he can’t have. I hope to use a w.o.c and one that doesn’t necessarily fit the westernised standard of beauty to show that marginalised women are desirable.

·     She follows him through a series of sets and areas and the contrast between them is show through their different reactions to the scenes (performative element) 

·     He serenades her in the hopes of capturing her attention in the prom scene which is an intertextual reference back to the future and the prom scene in that 

·     Towards the end of the video there’s a climax and they appear as If they are going to share a moment of intimacy but then all the girls disappear

·     the artist ends up alone on a hill with a sheep for company, actively showing that the treatment of women as objects isn’t okay and you end up alone.
